The Hangover

The Hangover is a hilarious movie consisting of witty humor and turns of events. It shows the adventures of four men who head to Las Vegas for a bachelor party. With a night full of drinking and fun, the men wake up with no recollection of the night before. With a wedding in two days and the groom missing, the three groomsmen start to try and piece their night together. The contrast between the characters adds to the humor and builds on the plot and as they discover their night, they discover other things that may have happened.

Revising!

I have never been good at editing my own papers and works. I usually e-mail it to my mom so she can quickly look it over in between the work she has to do. This reading has helped me learn techniques to edit my own.I know to start with a high- order revision, then move to a mid- order revision and then low-revision. I can add, remove or rearrange words or sentences. Also its important to make sure your paper flows well. There are a lot of things in the reading from Embracing Writing that will take time to develop but for the most part I think I will do a lot better revising my own paper.

Celebrities vs. Politics

After the first reading it really makes me wonder. It is very true, as a society, we spend more time paying attention to celebrities and who got what plastic surgery rather then what really matters. If we took more time concerning ourselves with what really matters, maybe our government would be better, our society would be more stable and our people would be more educated. It could prevent a lot of the things that we deal with like teen pregnancy, drugs and alcohol. Celebrities do not hold a good example but yet we still envy and idolize them the most.

Reflection on Student Project

I really like the first project piece, the one made by the boy who was involved in the marching band. I liked how he gave us a brief on everyone that influenced him and his music when he first started off. I loved all the music he used because he states that it was made and composed in honor of his maestro. His colors looked really well and were very readable. I think it was pretty cool how he had pictures of when he was a kid, playing bis instrument. I also thought it was really cool how he had a live video. Overall it was a great project. I am honestly not sure how I could do one like it.
